Recycled Roses was started probably ten years ago by a young man, who decided to play with a paper towel when he was bored. He sat and worked, and goofed off, and before he knew it, there was a pretty rose in his hands! Now, being a guy; he did not want anyone to know he could make flowers, so he tucked away the secret for years. In 2007, his sister was in a car accident, breaking both legs, pelvis, ribs and a whole lot more. While at work, he thought of something he could do for her as the flower shops closed before he got off of work. He worked around ink, and frequently made what he called "ink art" which are paper towels soaked with ink to flush the old ink out of the cartridges he refilled. He thought those would make nice roses.
He took them to the hospital, not knowing the response he would for not getting "real" flowers. A couple days later, people started calling him. "Where did you get those roses at? They're so beautiful!" after a few calls, he thought maybe he should sell them for others. Then his wife's grandmother became ill. His wife loved the roses, and she asked him to make some for her grandmother. It turned out everyone there loved them as well. And so began the creation of Recycled Roses.
To make a long story short, I put a lot of care in these roses. I have yet to find someone that did not like them, and I doubt I ever will. You can be sure that you'll love them, and so will the person that gets it.
